PARTNERSHIP SALES AND TRAINING FULFILLMENT - PCA GENERATES ROUGHLY 25% OF ITS OPERATING BUDGET FROM EARNED INCOME (SCHOOLS AND YOUTH SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS WHO PAY FOR PROGRAMMING FOR THEIR COACHES, ATHLETES, ADMINISTRATORS AND PARENTS). PCA'S MORE THAN 1,700 SCHOOLS AND YSO PARTNERS SPAN THE UNITED STATES AND ARE SUPPORTED BY PCA STAFF THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO IMPLEMENT PCA MESSAGING AND RESOURCES ACROSS THEIR ORGANIZATIONS. PCA WORKS FROM THE GRASSROOTS UP - WITH INDIVIDUAL SCHOOLS AND YSOS - AND FROM THE TOP DOWN - FORMING NATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS WITH "UMBRELLA ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS AAU, LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL, US LACROSSE AND US YOUTH SOCCER. PCA DELIVERS ITS TRAINING PRIMARILY THROUGH LIVE WORKSHOPS - MORE THAN 3,000 ANNUALLY. CERTIFIED PCA TRAINERS LEAD THESE WORKSHOPS. PCA HAS A DIVERSE CERTIFIED TRAINER NETWORK, COMPRISED OF MORE THAN 130 PEOPLE. PCA ALSO DELIVERS TRAINING VIA INTERACTIVE, ONLINE COURSES, WHICH FEATURE MEMBERS OF PCA'S NATIONAL ADVISORY BOARD. PCA HAS REACHED OVER 19 MILLION YOUTH WITH THESE PROGRAMS OVER THE PAST 20 YEARS.
PROGRAM DELIVERY - PCA CONDUCTS TWO AWARDS PROGRAMS ANNUALLY, ONE THAT RECOGNIZES OUTSTANDING COACHES WHO STRIVE TO WIN, WHILE, MORE IMPORTANTLY, TEACHING LIFE LESSONS THROUGH SPORTS, AND A SECOND THAT HONORS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT-ATHLETES WHO WORK TO MAKE THEMSELVES BETTER, THEIR TEAMMATES BETTER AND THE GAME/COMMUNITY BETTER. PCA IMPLEMENTS OUR PROGRAM WITH LARGE ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS THE OAKLAND PARKS AND RECREATION AND MIAMI-DADE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS WITH CONTRIBUTIONS GENEROUSLY PROVIDED BY EXTERNAL FUNDERS.
