PRIMARY MEDICAL CARE SERVICES SERVED 3,063 PATIENTS, MANY OF WHOM ARE NATIVE HAWAIIAN. CHRONIC AND COMMUNICABLE DISEASES AND MATERNAL CHILD HEALTH ARE ENHANCED WITH EDUCATION ON SMOKING CESSATION, ASTHMA, AND NUTRITION.
A FULL RANGE OF DENTAL SERVICES WAS PROVIDED TO 1,270 CLIENTS FOR EMERGENCY, OPERATIVE, PREVENTIVE, AND PROSTHETIC CARE. MANY OF THE PATIENTS SERVED ARE ON MEDICAID OR UNINSURED WHOM MOST OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS ARE UNABLE TO SERVE.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES WERE PROVIDED IN A PRIMARY HEALTH CARE SETTING TO 548 CLIENTS THROUGH THERAPY AND INTERVENTION MODALITIES.
