TO ASSESS NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY, ESPECIALLY CHILDREN, AND TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT SERVICE PROJECTS AND ALLOCATION OF GRANTS TO FULFILL THOSE NEEDS. COMMUNITY SERVICE CLUB - "KIWANIS IS A GLOBAL ORGANIZATION OF VOLUNTEERS DEDICATED TO CHANGING THE WORLD ONE CHILD AND ONE COMMUNTIY AT A TIME."

Part 3 - Line 4a

PROCEEDS FROM THE ANNUAL RUBBER DUCK RACE EVENT ARE DISTRIBUTED IMMEDIATELY TO THE NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND SCHOOLS THAT HAVE PARTICIPATED TO HELP RAISE THE FUNDS. OVER 30 SUCH GROUPS WERE PRESENTED CHECKS AT THE ANNUAL EVENT.


ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS ARE DISBURSED TO COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES FOR ALLOCATION TOWARD THE TUITION ACCOUNTS OF SELECTED STUDENTS BASED ON ACADEMIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS, LEADERSHIP ABILITIES, COMMUNITY SERVICES RENDERED, AND FINANCIAL NEED.
