THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO EMPOWER EXCEPTIONAL STUDENTS TO UNDERSTAND AND IMPROVE THE FUTURE BY DEVELOPING THEIR ANALYTICAL REASONING SKILLS. THROUGH FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMS, THE ORGANIZATION AIMS TO HELP STUDENTS MITIGATE COGNITIVE BIASES, BUILD ACCURATE BELIEFS, AND APPLY EVIDENCE-BASED TOOLS TO ADDRESS GLOBAL CHALLENGES LIKE POVERTY, EXISTENTIAL RISKS, ADVANCED AI RISKS, AND ECONOMIC REFORM. IN 2023, THE ORGANIZATION RAN 3 IN-PERSON PROGRAMS OF 9-11 DAYS EACH, ALL HELD IN BERKELEY, CA. THE PROGRAMS HOSTED 88 EXCEPTIONAL STUDENTS TOTAL, WITH EACH PROGRAM RANGING FROM 21 TO 35 PARTICIPANTS. THROUGH INTENSIVE REASONING SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND EXPOSURE TO MAJOR GLOBAL CHALLENGES, THE PROGRAMS AIMED TO EMPOWER YOUTH AND EQUIP THEM WITH TOOLS TO DRIVE POSITIVE CHANGE. KEY IMPACTS INCLUDED IMPROVING PARTICIPANTS' ANALYTICAL ABILITIES, BOOSTING THEIR CONFIDENCE IN GENERATING WORLDWIDE IMPACT, AND ACQUAINTING THEM WITH PRESSING GLOBAL ISSUES THEY MAY HELP ADDRESS. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS AND PROVIDED COLLEGE ADVISING TO 99 SELECTED FELLOWS, WHILE ALSO GRANTING SMALLER SCHOLARSHIPS TO 134 FINALISTS. IN 2023, THE ORGANIZATION AWARDED STRATEGIC GRANTS TO SUPPORT FOUR MISSION-ALIGNED INITIATIVES FOCUSED ON EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE, AND AI SAFETY.
