THE SANTA YNEZ VALLEY HISTORICAL SOCIETY'S MISSION IS PRESERVING, INTERPRETING AND CELEBRATING THE HISTORY OF HUMAN EXPERIENCE IN CALIFORNIA'S SANTA YNEZ VALLEY AND CENTRAL COAST BY INFORMING, EDUCATING, INSPIRING AND ENGAGING MUSEUM GUESTS OF ALL AGES AND BACKGROUNDS.TO ACHIEVE ITS MISSION THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY CONSISTENTLY OFFERS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ON LOCAL HISTORY, CHANGING EXHIBITIONS THAT RELATE EARLY VALLEY HISTORY AND CULTURE, CHILDRENS WORKSHOPS, AND INTERPRETIVE DISPLAYS THAT IMPART THE UNIQUE STORY OF THE SANTA YNEZ VALLEY.
