THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY AND ONLY PURPOSE IS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE CHARITABLE COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES OF THE PASADENA JAYCEES. SUCH ACTIVITIES INCLUDE RAISING MONEY TO BUY TOYS FOR NEEDY CHILDREN AT CHRISTMAS, BUYING FOOD FOR THE NEEDY AT THANKSGIVING, HOSTING A PICNICS FOR THE FOSTER FAMILIES OF THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY AND PURCHASING BOOKS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR NEEDY SCHOOL CHILDREN IN THE FALL, AMONG OTHER CHARITABLE PROJECTS. THE JAYCEES VISIT OVER 4,000 HOMES ON CHRISTMAS EVE AND SERVICE OVER 8,000 NEEDY INDIVIDUALS THROUGH ONE FORM OF CHARITY OR ANOTHER DURING THE FISCAL YEAR.
