HOLLYWOOD HERITAGE PRESERVES AND PROTECTS THE HISTORIC BUILT ENVIRONMENT OF HOLLYWOOD BY ACTIVELY INTERACTING WITH CITY, STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES AND BY EDUCATING THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE CONTINUED OPERATION OF THE HOLLYWOOD HERITAGE MUSEUM (THE LASKY DEMILLE BARN) AND BY SPONSORING AND PRESENTING PROGRAMS AT THE MUSEUM ON HISTORICAL TOPICS REGARDING PRESERVATION AND FILM HISTORY.

HOLLYWOOD HERITAGE MUSEUM OPERATES A MUSEUM DEDICATED TO THE HISTORY AND PRESERVATIN OF EARLY FILM-MAKING AND MEMORABILIA FROM PAST ERAS. THE MUSEUM IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. CINECON CLASSIC FILM FESTIVAL IS ALSO HEALD EACH YEAR OVER LABOR DAY WEEKEND. CINECON IS DEDICATED TO SHOWCASING UNUSUAL FILMS THAT ARE RARELY GIVEN PUBLIC SCREENINGS.
