THE LOMPOC VALLEY FESTIVAL ASSOCIATIONS MISSION IS TO PROMOTE AND ACCOMPLISH ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AND ITS SURROUNDING UNINCORPORATED AREAS INCLUDING THE ANNUAL FLOWER FESTIVAL, SPRING ARTS FAIR, CARNIVAL, QUEEN CONTEST AND PARADE.

THE LOMPOC VALLEY FESTIVAL ASSOCIATION PERFORMED ACTIVITIES NECESSARY TO PROMOTE AND ACCOMPLISH THE ANNUAL FLOWER FESTIVAL FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AND ITS SURROUNDING UNINCORPORATED AREAS. THE ACTIVITIES CONSISTED OF:1. SPONSORING A QUEEN CONTEST. THE QUEEN CANDIDATES ARE SPONSORED BY VARIOUS SOCIAL AND SERVICE CLUBS OF THE COMMUNITY AND COMPETE FOR THE PRIZE OF BEING NAMED FESTIVAL QUEEN AT THE ANNUAL CORONATION BALL.
PROVIDING ACTIVITIES IN THE LOCAL PARK DURING WHICH MANY LOMPOC CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS HAVE THEIR BIGGEST FUND RAISING EVENTS. OTHER PARK ACTIVITIES INCLUDE A CARNIVAL, ART DISPLAYS, COMMUNITY FAIR DISPLAYS AND VARIOUS TYPES OF ENTERTAINMENT.
