THE PURPOSE OF THE SAN MATEO COUNTY EVENT CENTER IS TO PRODUCE THE ANNUAL SAN MATEO COUNTY FAIR AND PROVIDE FACILITIES AND GOUNDS THAT CAN BE USED FOR EVENTS, CONVENTIONS, SHOWS, EXPOSITIONS, TRAINING AND EDUCATION SEMINARS DURING THE YEAR. THE ASSOCIATION'S FACILITIES AND GROUNDS ARE ALSO USED BY THE VARIOUS COUNTY AND CITY AGENCIES FOR TAINING AND PUBLIC EVENTS.
