SOLANO COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION IS AN ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED IN 1946 TO CONDUCT THE ANNUAL COUNTY FAIR AND OVERSEE OPERATIONS OF THE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS PROPERTY. THE ASSOCIATION HAS BEEN PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL, ARTISTIC, COMMERCIAL AND RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS TO THE RESIDENTS OF SOLANO COUNTY. THE MISSION IS TO ENSURE A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE FOR THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING A YEAR ROUND VENUE THAT SHOWCASES AND CELEBRATES THE WIDE VARIETY OF RESOURCES AND ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE TO OUR DIVERSE COMMUNITY.

THE ASSOCIATION IS TREATED AS A COMPONENT UNIT OF SOLANO COUNTY AND PROVIDES AGRICULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AT LARGE.THE ASSOCIATION PUTS ON A FOUR DAY FAIR, MANAGES THE SATELLITE WAGERING FACILITY, AND A VARIETY OF OTHER EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES. AG DAY IS A ONE DAY EVENT IN WHICH ALL THIRD GRADERS IN SOLANO COUNTY ARE INVITED TO THE EVENT.
