UP WITH PEOPLE IS A 55-YEAR-OLD EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM DEDICATED TO CREATING A MORE INCLUSIVE AND SUSTAINABLE WORLD BY BUILDING A COMMUNITY OF YOUNG PEOPLE DEDICATED TO BEING LIFELONG CHANGEMAKERS USING ARTISTIC EXPRESSION AND CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING AROUND GLOBAL AND LOCAL ISSUES.

AS A RESULT OF COVID 19, FISCAL YEAR 2022 WAS QUITE DIFFERENT THAN THE USUAL. RATHER THAN RUNNING TRAVELING STUDENT PROGRAMS YEAR-ROUND, UP WITH PEOPLE WAS ONLY ABLE TO SAFELY HOLD ONE IN PERSON RETREAT STYLE PROGRAM CALLED CHANGEMAKERU. THIS PROGRAM OCCURRED IN THE UNITED STATES FOR STUDENTS AGED 18-22. THIS OCCURRED IN JULY 2021. DUE TO FISCAL AND PANDEMIC RELATED LIMITATIONS, THE REST OF THE ORGANIZATIONS PROGRAM SERVICE ACTIVITIES WERE FOCUSED ON ACHIEVING FINANCIAL STABILITY AND PREPARING FOR A RELAUNCH OF OUR PROGRAM SERVICES IN 2023.
