EMPLOYMENT TRAINING - THE TRAINING CENTER PREPARES CLIENTS FOR CAREERS WITH ENTRY-LEVEL AND MID-LEVEL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES. IN ADDITION TO THE TRAINING PROGRAMS, THE EMPLOYMENT DEPT OFFERS PLACEMENT SERVICES THROUGH OUR DIVERSITY JOB BANK FOR HIGH-END EMPLOYMENT POSSIBILITIES AND PROVIDES PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE THROUGH JOB MATCHING. APPROXIMATELY 8,000 PEOPLE SERVED ANNUALLY.
EDUCATION, YOUTH, FAMILY HEALTH SERVICES PROGRAM HAS HELPED INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES REALIZE THEIR GOALS AND ACHIEVE SELF -SUFFICIENCY. EYFS PROGRAMS OFFER READ AND RISE, CAMPAIGN FOR AFRICAN -AMERICAN ACHIEVEMENT, YOUTH LEADERSHIP, CAREER COLLEGE CLUB NETWRK, GOLDEN PYRAMID SCHOLARS/ACHIVEMENT MATTERS AWARDS WHERE OVER 300 STUDENTS WITH GPAS OF 3.0 OR HIGHER HAVE BEEN AWARDED CERTIFICATES AND SCHOLARSHIPS SIGNIFYING ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AT HUGE CEREMONIES WITH RECORD ATTENDANCE OF 1200 PLUS PEOPLE.
