THE DLBA OPERATES ON BEHALF OF THE TENANTS AND COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY OWNERS IN LONG BEACH'S DOWNTOWN AND SURROUNDING AREAS. IT IS DEDICATED TO THE MANAGEMENT, MARKETING, SECURITY, MAINTENANCE, ADVOCACY, ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OF ITS TWO ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS IN COOPERATION WITH THE CITY OF LONG BEACH AND THE PRIVATE SECTOR.

DOWNTOWN LONG BEACH ALLIANCE IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED TO ATTRACT, STIMULATE, AND ENHANCE BUSINESS ACTIVITY IN THE DOWNTOWN LONG BEACH AREA. TO MEET THESE GOALS, THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS CAMPAIGNS, HOLDS EXEMPT PURPOSE EVENTS WHICH PROMOTE DOWNTOWN LONG BEACH, AND PROVIDES A RANGE OF SERVICES INCLUDING MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS AND A GUIDE PROGRAM FOR DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO ADDRESSES SPECIFIC MERCHANT ISSUES THAT BETTER THE BUSINESS ATMOSPHERE IN THE DOWNTOWN LONG BEACH AREA.
