THE NORTHWEST NATURAL RESOURCE GROUP HELPS LANDOWNERS TO PRACTICE ECOLOGICAL FORESTRY ON THEIR LAND. DEDICATED TO PROMOTING A SUSTAINABLE, ENVIRONMENTALLY SOUND ECONOMY IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST, WE WORK PRIMARILY ON FORESTLANDS OWNED AND MANAGED BY PRIVATE LANDOWNERS, SMALLER FOREST PRODUCT COMPANIES, LOCAL GOVERNMENTS, SOVEREIGN INDIAN NATIONS, AND NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. OUR PRIMARY TOOLS TO ACCOMPLISH THIS MISSION ARE FOREST PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES; EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS; GROUP CERTIFICATION UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE FOREST STEWARDSHIP COUNCIL (R) ON OWNERSHIPS TOTALING 190,000 ACRES IN OREGON AND WASHINGTON; AND EXPERTISE IN CONNECTING LANDOWNERS WITH SOURCES OF LANDOWNER ASSISTANCE.
