ECOSYSTEM RESTORATIONWORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PRIVATE LANDOWNERS, TRIBES, STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES, MUNICIPALITIES AND COMMUNITY GROUPS, LOMAKATSI DEVELOPS AND IMPLEMENTS SMALL TO LANDSCAPE SCALE, ECOLOGICALLY BASED, FOREST, WOODLAND AND RIPARIAN HABITAT RESTORATION PROJECTS ACROSS OREGON AND NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. THESE PROJECTS ARE DESIGNED TO RESTORE ECOSYSTEM FUNCTION AND RESILIENCE, AND REDUCE THE THREAT OF SEVERE FIRE TO COMMUNITIES AND WILDLIFE HABITAT. LOMAKATSI INTEGRATES WORKFORCE TRAINING, DEVELOPMENT AND EMPLOYMENT IN THESE PROJECTS PROVIDING ECONOMIC STIMULUS AND SUPPORT TO RURAL COMMUNITIES.
