CALIFORNIA COASTAL CONSERVANCY PEDRO POINT HEADLANDS STEWARDSHIP GRANT - THE GRANT SUPPORTS PEDRO POINT HEADLANDS STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM FOR COMMUNITY-BASED HABITAT RESTORATION AND TRAIL ENHANCEMENT AT PEDRO POINT HEADLANDS BY HOSTING VOLUNTEER WORKDAYS. VOLUNTEERS RESTORED AND IMPROVED NATURAL HABITAT AND TRAILS BY ASSISTING WITH TASKS SUCH AS CONTROLLING INVASIVE SPECIES, REVEGETATING LANDSCAPE SCARS, AND PREVENTING EROSION. VOLUNTEERS ALSO ASSISTED BY COMPLETING MINOR REPAIRS TO EXISTING TRAILS TO IMPROVE VISITOR SAFETY AND ADDRESS EROSION.
