OSS'S COLLABORATIVE LEARNING COMMUNITY OF TEACHERS, PARENTS, STUDENTS AND STAFF FORM A WORKING PARTNERSHIP TO ENRICH THE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR THE CHILDREN TO PROVIDE AN EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING PROCESS THROUGH CROSS-AGED INTERACTION, FIELD TRIPS, PROJECT-BASED LEARNING, AND COMMUNITY INVOLVMENT.

THE FOUNDATION UNDERTAKES ITS ACTIVITIES THROUGH A NUMBER OF SERVICES INCLUDING WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING COURSES, ARCHIVE DEVELOPMENT AND RESEARCH, JOURNAL WRITING AND PRODUCTION AS WELL AS PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF AUDIO AND BOOKS RELATED TO SHAMANISM.

CREATING COMMUNITY THROUGH ART. WE ACCOMPLISH OUR MISSION BY PROVIDING FREE EXHIBITIONS OF EMERGING AND ESTABLISHED CALIFORNIA AND WEST COAST ARTISTS, EDUCATION AND ENGAGEMENT DESIGNED TO MAKE ART ACCESSIBLE TO PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AND BACKGROUNDS AND AFFORDABLE ART STUDIOS.

INSPIRING STUDENT-ATHLETES WHILE PREPARING THEM FOR HIGH SCHOOL AND VOLUNTEERING TIME IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. ALSO PROVIDING AN AFFORDABLE BASEBALL PROGRAM FOR THE COMMUNITY AND ACCEPTING AND DISTRIBUTING BASEBALL GEAR TO AREAS AROUND THE WORLD.
