WE WERE ABLE TO SECURE GOVERNMENT FUNDING TO PURCHASE THE PROPERTIES USING STATE AND COUNTY PROGRAMS. THERE IS AN EASEMENT ATTACHED TO THE PROPERTY BY THE HAWAII COUNTY TO ENSURE THE LAND IS PROTECTED. THERE ARE NUMEROUS CULTURAL SIGNIFICANT SITES WITHIN THE PURCHASED LANDS AS WELL AS ANTIVE DRY FOREST. WITH THIS PURCHASE THE COASTLINE HAS BEEN PROTECTED FROM KA LAE TO HONUAPO.
