TO RAISE, MANAGE AND DISTRIBUTE FUNDS TO ASSURE THE CONTINUED AVAILABILITY OF QUALITY HEALTH CARE SERVICES AND PROGRAMS THROUGH SKAGIT VALLEY HOSPITAL. THE FOUNDATION WILL FOSTER COMMUNITY AWARENESS OF, AND SUPPORT FOR, SKAGIT VALLEY HOSPITAL THROUGH THE INVOLVEMENT OF THE PEOPLE IT SERVES.

THE SKAGIT REGIONAL HEALTH FOUNDATION MANAGES AND OVERSEES 33 DEDICATED FUNDS. THE MOST ACTIVE FUNDS CURRENTLY ARE THE CARDIAC FUND,THE CANCER CARE FUND, THE FAMILY BIRTH CENTER FUND AND THE CHILDREN'S THERAPY FUND.IN 2022, THE FOUNDATION GRANTED $433,283 TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS AND SERVICES AT SKAGIT REGIONAL HEALTH. EXAMPLES OF THESE GRANTS INCLUDE:- $20,000 FOR CLOTHING FOR PATIENTS-IN-NEED WHO ARE DISCHARGED FROM THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT.- $15,013 FOR THE CANCER CARE PATIENT ASSISTANCE FUND.- $10,800 FOR THERAPY SUPPLIES FOR THE CHILDREN'S THERAPY PROGRAM.- $363,122 FOR UPGRADES AND EQUIPMENT PURCHASES IN THE FAMILY BIRTH CENTERS AT BOTH SKAGIT VALLEY HOSPITAL AND CASCADE VALLEY HOSPITAL.- $24,348 FOR A NUMBER OF SMALLER GRANTS TO BENEFIT DIFFERENT AREAS OF OUR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.
