INSPIRASIAN FOSTERS DIVERSITY APPRECIATION AND INCLUSION IN OUR WORKPLACE. WE INVOKE INSPIRATION FROM CELEBRATING ASIAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDER HERITAGE, INCREASING CULTURAL AWARENESS, AND DEVELOPING INSPIRING LEADERS. WE ENGAGE WITH IMAGINATION TO DELIVER MEANINGFUL EVENTS AND INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS THAT INSPIRE OTHERS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

WHILE THE MAJORITY OF OUR SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS WERE RECEIVED AS A RESULT OF A $142,424 MATCHING GRANTS FROM THE AT&T FOUNDATIONS, LOCAL INSPIRASIAN CHAPTERS HOSTED A MIXTURE OF EVENTS TO HELP RAISE AN ADDITIONAL $75,354 FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM LISTED ABOVE. EVENTS INCLUDE LUNAR NEW YEAR DINNERS, ASIAN HERITAGE MONTH ACTIVITIES, ART CLASSES, GOLF TOURNAMENTS, SILENT AUCTIONS, AND CANDY, COOKBOOK, TEE-SHIRT AND PINS SALES, AND THE EMPLOYEE GIVING CAMPAIGN.
DESPITE THE SHELTER IN PLACE MANDATE FROM THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, SOME OF THE LOCAL INSPIRASIAN CHAPTERS HOSTED VIRTUAL EVENTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THEIR MEMBERS. EVENTS INCLUDED LUNCH AND LEARNS WITH EXECUTIVE SPEAKERS, FIRESIDE CHATS, SESSIONS ON SELF DEVELOPMENT TOPICS, CULTURAL EVENTS FOR LUNAR NEW YEAR AND MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL.
