Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
COVID-19 CONTINUED TO FORSTALL BUISNESS AS WE'VE KNOWN IT PRIOR TO 2020. OUR EVENTS STAYED VIRTUAL, FOR OUR TRADITIONAL SPRING WORKSHOPS AND FALL TRADE SHOW WITH TWO SMALL IN-PERSON EVENTS ADDED IN OCTOBER. WE MOVED TO A NEW WEBSITE/MEMBERSHIP PLATFORM AND REINSTATED DUES. BOOKSTORES AND PUBLISHERS WERE EASIER TO CONNECT WITH AS EVERYONE HAD PIVOTED AND HAD NEW SYSTEMS IN PLACE TO HANDLE BUSINESS. AS A RESULT, THE CATALOG PROGRAM SAW AN INCREASE IN SUPPORT FROM ALL PARTIES. CALVIN CROSBY LEFT THE ORGANIZATION AND KRISTIN RASMUSSEN AND ANN SEATON WERE HIRED AS CO-EXECTUTIVE DIRECTORS. THE LOANS INCURRED IN PREVIOUS YEARS BY CALVIN AND ANN WERE REPAID. THE PPP LOAN WAS FORGIVEN. WE CONTINUED TO CONSULT WITH UNDERGROUND BOOKS THROUGH THE END OF JUNE. WE CLOSED THE OFFICE AT THE END OF MARCH AND NOW WORK FROM HOME.
