THE AGENCY HAS THREE PRINCIPAL AREAS OF SERVICES: EMPLOYMENT, TRAINING, AND COMMUNITY SERVICES. IN EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, SPECIALISTS ASSIST CLIENTS BY PREPARING THEM FOR WORK THROUGH RESUME, INTERVIEWING, AND APPLICATION ASSISTANCE. IN TRAINING, THE AGENCY PROVIDES EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT SUCH AS HOW TO FIND, KEEP, AND GROW IN A JOB, AS WELL AS LIFE SKILLS. ALSO, THE AGENCY PROVIDES INDUSTRY SPECIFIC TRAINING THAT BRIDGE GAPS IN INDUSTRY NEEDS AND ENTRY LEVEL EMPLOYEES, CREATING QUALIFIED CANDIDATES IN SPECIFIC SECTORS. IN COMMUNITY SERVICES, SPECIALISTS ASSIST IN ACCESSING THE RESOURCES THEY NEED TO NAVIGATE THE PATHS THEY FACE AS THEY MAKE THE TRANSITION TO LIFE IN OUR COMMUNITY. THE GOALS OF THESE PROGRAMS ARE PEOPLE'S SELF-SUFFICIENCY.EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS FOR ADULTSREFUGEE PROGRAMS - SERVICES INCLUDE VOCATIONAL ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE CLASSES, AND EMPLOYMENT SERVICES.JOB CENTER - CAREER COACHING, VOCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, CAREER WORKSHOPS, EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, HOUSING INFORMATION, VOCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS, AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES.ADULT PROGRAM - ONE ON ONE CAREER COACHING AND TUITION ASSISTANCE.ON-THE-JOB TRAINING - EMPLOYERS PROVIDE HANDS-ON TRAINING AND WORK EXPERIENCE.CASE MANAGEMENT - PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE ONGOING CASE MANAGEMENT AND COUNSELING. YOUTH EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMSSUMMER YOUTH PROGRAM - YOUTH GAIN EXPERIENCE AND IMPORTANT LIFE SKILLS THROUGH JOB PLACEMENT AND CLASSROOM TRAINING.YOUTHRISE IS A GROUP OF YOUNG DIVERSE LEADERS (15-23 YEARS OF AGE) WHOSE MISSION IS TO CREATE POSITIVE SOCIAL CHANGE BY CREATING AN EMPOWERING COMMUNITY AND ADVANCING THE VOICE OF YOUNG PEOPLE.
