WHILE COVID HIT DIFFERENT COMMUNITIES WITH VARYING INTENSITY, NATIVE HEALTH RESPONDED QUICKLY, DECISIVELY, NIMBLY, AND SAVED MANY LIVES OF THE UNDERSERVED COMMUNITY WE SERVE. COVID PRESENTED AN UNPRECEDENTED CHALLENGE, AND WE BELIEVE NATIVE HEALTH ROSE TO THE OCCASION QUICKLY, DID AN EXCELLENT JOB IN PROVIDING MEDICAL, DENTAL, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND COMMUNITY SERVICES AS WELL AS INCREASING ACCESS TO SOCIAL DETERMINANTS, VIRTUALLY AND IN-PERSON. NATIVE HEALTH HAS MANY COMMUNITY COLLABORATIONS AND PARTNERSHIPS AND WAS ABLE TO COOPERATE QUICKLY WITH ORGANIZATIONS TO SERVE THE UNDERSERVED COMMUNITY. NATIVE HEALTH, IN COLLABORATION WITH OUR PARTNERS, DEPLOYED SERVICES AS SOON AS THEY BECAME AVAILABLE. NATIVE HEALTH ROLLED OUT TELEHEALTH, TELEPHONIC, AND VIRTUAL HEALTHCARE QUICKLY. NATIVE HEALTH MADE SURE FAMILIES HAD ACCESS TO PPE, CLEANING SUPPLIES, FOOD, AND INCREASED VIRTUAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING FOR THEIR CHILDREN WHILE SCHOOL WAS SHUT DOWN. ONLINE CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING BEGAN WITHIN ONE MONTH OF COVIDS ONSET. FREE MATERIALS WERE MAILED TO PARTICIPANTS SO THEY COULD REMAIN AT HOME, SAFE AND HEALTHY. FREE FOOD DISTRIBUTION WAS PROVIDED AS A DRIVE UP, CONTACTLESS OPTION FOR FAMILIES. NATIVE HEALTH ALSO ADDRESSED MENTAL HEALTH. NATIVE HEALTH INSTITUTED VIRTUAL TALKING CIRCLES, YOUTH RESILIENCY PROGRAMS, MENTAL HEALTH ZOOM WEBINARS, PARENTING, AND ONLINE HOME VISITING PROGRAMS, TO NAME A FEW. THERE WERE DRIVE THRU HOME VISITING GRADUATIONS AND MANY OTHER HAPPY AND ENGAGING EVENTS OVER 75 VIRTUAL CULTURAL EVENTS WERE DELIVERED TO THE COMMUNITY WITH OUTSTANDING RESPONSE. THE COMMUNITY RESPONDED AND ASKED FOR MORE AND NATIVE HEALTH DELIVERED. COVID TESTING WAS ROLLED OUT AS SOON AS IT WAS INSTITUTED. THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE RECEIVED COVID TESTING THROUGH DRIVE THRU EVENTS. NATIVE HEALTH ALSO PROVIDED HOMEBOUND AND HOMELESS COVID TESTING, SAVING MANY LIVES. NATIVE HEALTH WAS ABLE TO ROLL OUT VACCINES QUICKLY AND ORGANIZED. TO DATE, WE'VE PROVIDED OVER 19,126 VACCINES, SAVING COUNTLESS LIVES. COMMUNITY EVENTS WERE WELL ATTENDED AND STRENGTHENED OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE COMMUNITY. NATIVE HEALTH DISTRIBUTED THOUSANDS OF FLU SHOTS VIA DRIVE THRU FLU SHOT CLINICS. NATIVE HEALTH HAS PROVIDED OVER 165,000 MEALS SINCE COVID BEGAN INCLUDING INDIGENOUS FOOD BOXES, HOLIDAY FOOD BOXES, KID'S MEALS, FAMILY FOOD BACKPACKS, URBAN NATIVE AMERICAN SENIOR FOOD BOXES, AND MANY OTHER FOOD- BASED PROGRAMS. NATIVE HEALTHS TRADITIONAL GARDEN PROVIDED OVER 2,400 POUNDS OF PRODUCE TO NATIVE HEALTHS FOOD PANTRIES. NATIVE HEALTH'S GOAL WAS TO SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY DURING COVID, BRING PEOPLE CLOSER (VIRTUALLY) BY PROVIDING CULTURAL SUPPORTS, PROVIDING EXCELLENT MEDICAL, DENTAL, AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES, AND WE DID ALL OF THIS AND MORE WITH SUPPORT FROM HRSA, INDIAN HEALTH SERVICE, COMMUNITY PARTNERS, SUPPORTERS, AND OTHERS. TO DATE NATIVE HEALTH HAS PROVIDED 19,126 COVID VACCINES AND 5,982 COVID TESTS. IT HAS BEEN TWO YEARS SINCE COVID IMPACTED OUR LIVES AND NATIVE HEALTH CAN SAY WE ARE PROUD OF OUR RESPONSE.
