DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT ASSISTANCE AND COUNSELING-PROVIDES INTERVENTION, REFERRAL SERVICES, EMERGENCY SHELTER AND A 24 HOUR HOTLINE. ALSO PROVIDES SUPPORT GROUPS, LEGAL SERVICES, PREVENTION EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION TO VICTIMS, FAMILIES AND CONCERNED FRIENDS. TOTAL CLIENTS SERVED WERE 591 FOR THE YEAR,INCLUDING HOTLINE CALLS.
THE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM OFFERS SUPPORT TRANSITIONAL HOUSING, SHORT-TERM HOUSING ASSISTANCE, AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES, INCLUDING FOLLOW-UP SERVICES, THAT MOVE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT INTO PERMANENT HOUSING.
THE SHELTER PROVIDES DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS AND THEIR CHILDREN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT.
