WERIDETOGETHER, WEROCKTOGETHER EVENT AT THE SONOMA HORSE PARK, A WORLD-CLASS HORSE SHOW FACILITY THAT ATTRACTS TOP COMPETITORS FROM ALL OVER THE WESTERN UNITED STATES, CANADA AND MEXICO. THE BENEFIT REACHED AN AUDIENCE OF 150 ATTENDEES WITH THE MESSAGE OF MAKING THE SPORT SAFER FOR ALL.
WE RELEASED "WE CAN" PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT (PSA) IN COLLABORATION WITH AN ESPN COMMENTATOR TO GENERATE AWARENESS ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF SEXUAL ABUSE PREVENTION IN SPORTS AMONGST COACHES, ATHLETES, PARENTS, AND OTHER ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS IN ATHLETIC COMMUNITIES. THE "WE CAN" PSA HAS AMASSED CLOSE TO 100,000 VIEWS.
WE RIDE TOGETHER CONTINUED TO GROW ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH DARKNESS TO LIGHT, A GLOBAL NON-PROFIT COMMITTED TO EMPOWERING ADULTS TO PREVENT, RECOGNIZE, AND REACT RESPONSIBLY TO CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE THROUGH AWARENESS, EDUCATION, AND STIGMA REDUCTION, TO TRANSLATE EVIDENCE-BASED METHODS INTO EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TARGETED SPECIFICALLY AT ATHLETIC ENVIRONMENTS. WE FINALIZED A COACH/ATHLETE PLEDGE THAT ASKS FOR COMMITMENT FROM COACHES, ATHLETES, AND PARENTS TO FOLLOW 10 BEST PRACTICES.
