SERVICES FOR PROTECTION OF VULNERABLE SENIORS - MAINTAINS SENIORS IN THEIR HOMES AND MONITORS THEIR WELL-BEING THROUGH A VARIETY OF HOME CARE AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES AND ADVOCATES FOR SENIORS IN NURSING HOMES THROUGH THE OMBUDSMAN PROGRAM.
SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VETERAN FAMILIES (SSVF) - ASSISTS LOW-INCOME VETERAN FAMILIES WHO ARE CURRENTLY HOMELESS OR IMMINENTLY AT-RISK OF BECOMING HOMELESS. THE SSVF PROGRAM HELPS VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES BECOME RE-STABILIZED BY PROVIDING INDIVIDUAL HOUSING ASSISTANCE THROUGH A VARIETY OF COMMUNITY RESOURCES AND SERVICES IN A VETERAN-FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT.
CATHOLIC CHARITIES IMMIGRATION LEGAL SERVICES SERVES RESIDENTS OF THE SIX COUNTIES OF THE DIOCESE OF STOCKTON REGARDLESS OF INCOME, RACE, OR GENDER IN SAN JOAQUIN, STANISLAUS, TUOLUMNE, CALAVERAS, ALPINE, AND MONO. WE SERVE LOW-INCOME FAMILIES WHO REQUEST ASSISTANCE WITH IMMIGRATION LEGAL SERVICES BY PROVIDING LOW-COST, RELIABLE, PROFESSIONAL, AND CONFIDENTIAL SERVICES RELATED TO IMMIGRATION AND NATURALIZATION.
CALFRESH SERVICES - THIS PROGRAM EDUCATES INDIVIDUALS REGARDING THE FOOD STAMP APPLICATION PROCESS AND CONDUCTS OUTREACH AND APPLICATION ASSISTANCE FOR CALFRESH TO POTENTIALLY ELIGIBLE PEOPLE WHO SUFFER FROM HUNGER AND FOOD INSECURITY. SERVICES INCLUDE FOLLOW UP ASSISTANCE DURING THE PROCESS AND MAINTAINING BENEFITS.OTHER SOCIAL AND ADVOCACY PROGRAMS INCLUDE: EMERGENCY FOOD PROGRAM, COUNSELING, ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE, HEALTH CARE ACCESS, ADVANCE CARE PLANNING AND COVID-19 ASSISTANCE.
