PLSOS PRIMARY MISSION IS TO UNITE ALL LICENSED LAND SURVEYORS IN THE STATE OF OREGON TO PROMOTE LEGISLATION AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO IMPROVE THE PROFESSIONAL STATUS OF OREGON LAND SURVEYORS AND TO ADVANCE THE PROFESSION OF LAND SURVEYING BY PROMOTING HIGH STANDARDS.

PLSO ASSISTS THE OREGON STATE BOARD OF EXAMINERS FOR ENGINEERS AND LAND SURVEYORS WITH ADMINISTERING RULES AND REGULATIONS. PLSO DISTRIBUTES A BI-MONTHLY PUBLICATION, THE OREGON SURVEYOR, THAT IS FREE TO MEMBERS, RECIPROCATING SOCIETIES, SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES.
