WELLSPRINGS PROVIDES ALTERNATIVE LEARNING APPROACHES, SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY, AND A CULTURE OF INDIVIDUAL AFFIRMATION, IN WHICH TEENAGERS ARE MENTORED AND ASSISTED TOWARDS MEETING THE CHALLENGES OF ADOLESCENCE AND ADULTHOOD.

1. PROVIDED AN ALTERNATIVE, PERSONALIZED AND STRENGTH-BASED EDUCATION FOR 48 STUDENTS, REFERRED TO FROM 5 DISTRICTS IN LANE COUNTY. MATRICULATED 11 GRADUATES.2. THE SCHOOL HELD THE FIRST ANNUAL TRUNK OR TREAT FUNDRAISER. THE EVENT BROUGHT TOGETHER STUDENTS, ALUMNI, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS. STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS DECORATED THEIR VEHICLES AND WORKED PUMPKIN CARVING STATIONS PROVIDING A SAFE PLACE FOR FAMILIES TO CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN. THE EVENT RAISED OVER $22,000 FOR THE SCHOOL.3. THE SCHOOL PERSEVERED THROUGH A FINANCIALLY DEVASTATING START DUE TO LOW ENVROLLMENT BROUGHT ON BY THE EFFECTS OF COVID RELATED ISSUES. WELLSPRINGS STARTED WITH 34 STUDENTS BUT THROUGH THE DEDICATION AND PERSISTENCE BY STAFF THE ENROLLMENT WAS RAISED TO 48 STUDENTS BY YEAR END.4. THE SCHOOL WAS APPROVIED FOR A $13,500 GRANT TO START CONSTRUCTION ON THE OUTDOOR CLASSROOM THAT WILL BE LOCATED ON THE PROPERTY NEAR THE WETLANDS. THIS WILL PROVIDE A UNIQUE AND ENRICHED APPROACH TO OUR SCIENCE PROGRAM.5. COLLABORATED WITH LOOKING GLASS TO PROVIDE COUNSELING FOR STUDENTS ON AN APPOINTMENT BASIS.6. COLLABORATED WITH HOOTS TO PROVIDE COUNSELING AND MEDICAL ADVICE TO OUR STUDENTS ON A WALK-IN BASIS.7. PROVIDED LOCAL NON-PROFIT, HUERTO DE LA FAMILIA, TWO GARDEN PLOTS ON OUR PROPERTY FOR USE BY LOCAL LATINO FAMILIES.8.
