FUNDS WERE PROVIDED TO THE FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER, EMERGENCY HOUSING FUND, AND LUNCH BUDDY MENTOR PROGRAM IN ORDER TO SUPPORT STUDENTS AND FAMILIES IN NEED. THE FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER PROVIDES ESSENTIAL SUPPORT SUCH AS FOOD, CLOTHING, HYGIENE ITEMS, AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO STRUGGLING FAMILIES. THE FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER ALSO OVERSEES AN EMERGENCY HOUSING PROGRAM THAT SUPPLIES FAMILIES IN THE NORTH CLACKAMAS SCHOOL DISTRICT WITH ONE TIME RENT OR UTILITY ASSISTANCE. THE LUNCH BUDDY MENTOR PROGRAM MATCHES POSITIVE AND CONSISTENT ADULT MENTORS WITH NORTH CLACKAMAS STUDENTS TO STRENGTHEN CONNECTIONS TO SCHOOL AND HELPS STUDENTS TO BUILD SELF-ESTEEM, PROMOTE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE AND STRENGTHEN PEER RELATIONSHIPS.

THESE SCHOLARSHIPS INCLUDE THE BRIDGES TO SUCCESS SCHOLARSHIP WHICH IS AWARDED TO MULTIPLE STUDENTS, AS WELL AS SEVERAL SCHOLARSHIPS WHICH SUPPORT STUDENTS PURSUING DEGREES IN MUSIC, STEM FIELDS, BROADCASTING, EDUCATION, FIELDS OF SERVICE, AND CULINARY. 32 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED TO 28 GRADUATING NORTH CLACKAMAS SENIORS TO CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION AT FOUR-YEAR UNIVERSITIES, TWO-YEAR COMMUNITY COLLEGE OR TRADE SCHOOL.
TEACHER AND CLASSROOM ENHANCEMENT GRANTS: 22 GRANTS WERE AWARDED TO EDUCATORS IN 13 NORTH CLACKAMAS SCHOOLS TO FUND INNOVATIVE PROJECTS AND TECHNOLOGY. GRANT REQUESTS WERE GEARED TOWARD DISTANCE LEARNING/HYBRID NEEDS AS WELL AS CURRENT EVENT TOPICS SUCH AS SOCIAL JUSTICE. PROJECTS FUNDED INCLUDED LARGE PICTURE BOOKS FOR ONLINE GROUP READING WITH TOPICS AND STORIES GEARED TOWARD DIVERSITY, WHITE BOARDS FOR STUDENTS TO ENGAGE IN MATH FROM HOME, BOOKS TO DELIVER TO STUDENTS' HOMES FOR CLASS READING, AND SPECIAL EDUCATION TOOLS. THESE PROJECTS IMPACTED MORE THAN 3,800 STUDENTS IN GRADES K-12 IN THE NORTH CLACKAMAS SCHOOL DISTRICT.
