LINN BENTON FOOD SHARE IS THE REGIONAL FOOD BANK FOR LINN AND BENTON COUNTIES. SINCE 1981, FOOD SHARE HAS BEEN COMMITTED TO FULFILLING OUR GOAL THAT "EVERYBODY EATS". THROUGH OUR NETWORK OF 64 AGENCIES WE ATTEMPT TO REACH EVERY PERSON WHO CANNOT FIND ENOUGH RESOURCES TO ADEQUATELY FEED THEMSELVES OR THEIR FAMILY.

WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF 688 VOLUNTEERS, WHO VOLUNTEERED 1,268 HOURS, THE LBFS DISTRIBUTED 4,361,701 POUNDS OF FOOD TO 64 MEMBER AGENCIES: EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRIES IN LINN AND BENTON COUNTIES DISTRIBUTED 32,248 FOOD BOXES TO 318,065 INDIVIDUALS, AND SOUP KITCHENS AND SHELTERS SERVED 480,197 MEALS IN THE TWO COUNTY AREA.
