DONATIONS: WE WILL DONATE FUNDS TO A HUMANITARIAN ORGANIZATION WITH THE SAME PURPOSE THAT PURCHASE COMMODITIES OR SUPPLIES IN THE COUNTRY WHERE A PURCHASE IS MORE COST EFFECTIVE.
COMMODITY AQUISITIONS & DISTRIBUTIONS: WE SOMETIMES PAY A FEE TO AQUIRE NEEDED COMMODITIES TO BE SENT TO OUR FOREIGN HUMANITARIAN PARTNERS. THE FEES PAID ARE FROM WHOLESALE VALUE DOWN TO POSSIBLY 1% OF THE COMMODITIES VALUE. SOME ITEMS ARE OUTRIGHT DONATIONS.
FREIGHT & STORAGE: GLOBAL ASSISTANCE PAYS, IN MOST CASES, OCEAN FREIGHT, TRUCKING, STORAGE AND CHARGES TO TRANSPORT HUMANITARIAN AID FROM ITS SOURCE TO QUALIFIED CONSIGNEES.
