THE GRESHAM AREA CHAMBER FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE, SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL FUNCTIONS AND PURPOSES OF THE GRESHAM AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. THE FOUNDATION SHALL SEEK TO ADVANCE AND DIFFUSE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF ECONOMICS, FINANCE, EDUCATION, HOUSING, HUMAN RELATIONS, PROBLEMS OF MINORITY GROUPS, ECONOMIC PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT, TO FOSTER APPRECIATION FOR MUSIC AND THE ARTS IN EAST MULTNOMAH COUNTY, AND TO LESSEN THE BURDENS OF GOVERNMENT AND COMBAT COMMUNITY DETERIORATION AND JUVENILE DELINQUENCY THROUGH THE CONDUCT OF TRAINING COURSES, APPRENTICESHIPS, INTERNSHIPS, SEMINARS, DISCUSSION GROUPS, FORUMS, PANELS AND LECTURES.
