ACPENW IS AN ASSOCIATION FOR COMPUTER PROFESSIONALS THAT INCREASE COLLABORATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN THE K-12 EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS. ACPENW SUPPORTS ADVANCING LEADERSHIP, ADMINISTRATIVE TECHNIQUES, AND INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGIES AMONG ITS MEMBERS.

THE ACPE BOARD PLANNED, ORGANIZED AND MANAGED A THREE DAY CONFERENCE FOR ITS MEMBERSHIP. THE GOAL OF THE CONFERENCE WAS TO INCREASE COLLABORATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE ACPE MEMBERSHIP
THE ACPENW BOARD AWARDS SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS FOR GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS GOING TO POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS. ADDITIONALLY, THE ACPENW BOARD PROVIDES TRAVEL GRANTS TO ACPE BOARD MEMBERS WHO REQUEST THEM TO ATTEND THE ANNUAL COSN CONFERENCE.
REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE ACPENW BOARD AND ITS SUB-COMMITTEES PROVIDES LEADERSHIP CONSULTING, MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING FOR THE ORGANIZATION. BOARD MEMBERSHIP IS VOLUNTARY AND ACPENW DOES NOT PROVIDE COMPENSATION TO THE BOARD.
