DONATED GOODS AND RETAIL PROGRAM SERVICES:SOUTHERN OREGON GOODWILL INDUSTRIES UTILIZES THEIR RETAIL, PRODUCTION, WAREHOUSE, AND DONATION DEPARTMENTS TO PROVIDE INDIVIDUALS WITH BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT TRANSFERABLE JOB SKILLS. INDIVIDUALS RECEIVE JOB COACHING AND WORK EXPERIENCE TO LEARN SOFT SKILLS AND JOB SPECIFIC SKILL SETS THAT INDIVIDUALS CAN TRANSFER TO COMPETITIVE EMPLOYMENT. IN 2022, A TOTAL OF 4,237, INDIVIDUALS WERE SERVED THROUGH ONE OF GOODWILLS EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAMS OR THROUGH GOODWILLS COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS; OF THOSE PEOPLE 939 INDIVIDUALS WERE SERVED THROUGH ONE OF GOODWILLS EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAMS AND 3,298 PEOPLE WERE SERVED THROUGH A THIRD-PARTY COMMUNITY VOUCHER PARTNER USING GOODWILL FUNDS. OF THE INDIVIDUALS IN GOODWILLS EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAMS, 160 GAINED EMPLOYMENT WITH AN AVERAGE WAGE OF $15.55 AND WORKED AN AVERAGE OF 29.29 HOURS PER WEEK., GOODWILLS JOB CONNECTION CENTERS RECORDED 3,017 VISITS FROM PEOPLE SEEKING ASSISTANCE WITH GAINING EMPLOYMENT.
