WE EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AS TO MOTORING SAFETY, SUPPORT CHARITABLE AND COMMUNITY EVENTS WITHIN OR OTHERWISE RELATED TO THE AUTOMOTIVE COMMUNITY AND PROJECT A POSITIVE IMAGE OF AUTOMOTIVE ENTHUSIASTS.

THE MULTNOMAH HOT ROD COUNCIL PUTS ON AN ANNUAL EVENT, THE PORTLAND ROADSTER SHOW WHERE VEHICLES ARE DISPLAYED AND JUDGED. AVERAGE ATTENDANCE EXCEEDS 30,000. THE PORTLAND ROADSTER SHOW ALLOWS CHARITIES, SUCH AS THE KYRON HORMAN FOUNDATION, AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY, THE DIABETES FOUNDATION AND OTHERS, TO BE A PART OF THE SHOW AT NO COST AS A SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY.
THE MULTNOMAH HOT ROD COUNCIL AWARDS AUTOMOTIVE SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS IN HIGH SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY COLLEGES IN THE PORTLAND AND SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON AREA, CONTRIBUTES TO THE RANDALL LEGACY EMANUEL HOSPITAL FOR KIDS WITH CANCER, THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE AND IS A SPONSOR OF THE MISS OREGON ORGANIZATION FOR YOUNG WOMEN.
