OUR FIRST CONFERENCE, BUILDING AN ADVANCED ENERGY ECOSYSTEM IN NEW MEXICO, WAS HELD AT THE CLYDE HOTEL IN ALBUQUERQUE ON SEPTEMBER 14-15, 2023. A TOTAL OF 257 ATTENDEES REGISTERED FOR THE EVENT (FAR EXCEEDING THE INITIAL GOAL OF 100). WITH APPROXIMATELY 14 HOURS OF PROGRAMMING, THE AGENDA FOR THE CONFERENCE WAS WELL-BALANCED, COVERING A WIDE RANGE OF TOPICS RELATED TO ADVANCED ENERGY. IN TOTAL, THERE WERE 65 SPEAKERS, INCLUDING KEYNOTE SPEAKERS SENATOR MARTIN HEINRICH, SONIA AGGARWAL, SECRETARY SARAH COTTRELL PROPST, AND SECRETARY JAMES KENNEY. THE CONFERENCE WAS SMOOTHLY ORCHESTRATED BY A TEAM OF 6 EMCEES FROM THE PLANNING COMMITTEE, WHO WERE JOINED BY 2 GUEST EMCEES, SPEAKER JAVIER MARTINEZ AND REPRESENTATIVE NATHAN SMALL. THEIR EFFORTS PLAYED A CRUCIAL ROLE IN MAINTAINING THE FLOW AND ENGAGEMENT OF THE CONFERENCE. THE CONFERENCE RECEIVED SIGNIFICANT SUPPORT FROM 44 CORPORATE SPONSORS AND MULTIPLE SUPPORTING ORGANIZATIONS. A DEDICATED TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS FROM MULTIPLE ORGANIZATIONS INVESTED COUNTLESS HOURS TO ENSURE THE EVENT'S SUCCESS. OVERALL, THE CONFERENCE, BUILDING AN ADVANCED ENERGY ECOSYSTEM IN NEW MEXICO, BROUGHT TOGETHER A DIVERSE GROUP OF ATTENDEES AND SPEAKERS TO DISCUSS AND STRENGTHEN THE STATE'S ENERGY ECOSYSTEM.
