IN THIS FISCAL YEAR, COMPOST CASA EFFECTIVELY UTILIZED A $7,000 GRANT TO CONSTRUCT AN ACCESSIBLE GRAVEL ROAD TAILORED SPECIFICALLY FOR SCHOOL BUSES, SERVING SCHOOLS, 4-H, AND FFA GROUPS. THIS DEVELOPMENT WAS AIMED AT FACILITATING EDUCATIONAL VISITS TO OUR DEEP BEDDING COMPOST SYSTEM, MAKING IT ACCESSIBLE AND SAFE FOR LARGER GROUPS. THE NEW ROAD IS A STEP IN ENHANCING OUR EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH, ALLOWING US TO WELCOME MORE STUDENTS AND EDUCATORS INTO OUR COMPOSTING PROGRAMS. BY PROVIDING DIRECT, SAFE ACCESS FOR SCHOOL BUSES, WE HAVE EXPANDED OUR ABILITY TO ENGAGE WITH YOUNG MINDS ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF COMPOSTING, SUSTAINABILITY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP. THIS PROJECT NOT ONLY IMPROVES ACCESSIBILITY BUT ALSO SIGNIFICANTLY BOOSTS OUR IMPACT ON ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION WITHIN THE COMMUNITY, REINFORCING OUR COMMITMENT TO NURTURING FUTURE GENERATIONS OF ENVIRONMENTAL ADVOCATES.
