GREEN LAB CERTIFICATION: MY GREEN LAB OPERATES THE WORLD'S LEADING CERTIFICATION PROGRAM FOR OPERATIONAL LABORATORY SUSTAINABILITY, MY GREEN LAB CERTIFICATION. AT THE END OF 2022, WE WERE WORKING WITH NEARLY 1,500 LABS AND OVER 15,000 SCIENTISTS GLOBALLY. WE WERE WORKING WITH 25 OF THE TOP 30 BIOTECH AND PHARMACEUTICAL CORPORATIONS BY REVENUE AND OVER 200 ORGANIZATIONS IN TOTAL. LEADING RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS AND UNIVERSITIES WERE WORKING WITH MY GREEN LAB TO BUILD AND OPERATE GREEN LAB PROGRAMS, ENSURING THE LONGEVITY OF OUR IMPACT.
ACT LABELS: MY GREEN LAB ESTABLISHED THE FIRST ECO-LABEL FOR LABORATORY PRODUCTS AT THE END OF 2017. IN 2022 WE WORKED WITH MANUFACTURERS AND LIFE SCIENCE ORGANIZATIONS TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE PROCUREMENT IN LABORATORIES. WE ALSO DEVELOPED THE CAPACITY FOR ORGANIZATIONS TO CONNECT THE ACT DATABASE INTO THEIR PROCUREMENT WORKFLOW VIA AN OPEN API, AND MADE MEANINGFUL IMPROVEMENTS TO THE USER EXPERIENCE OF THE ACT DATABASE.
GREEN LAB OUTREACH: MY GREEN LAB PROVIDES CLEAR, COMPREHENSIVE INFORMATION TO OUR GLOBAL COMMUNITY ABOUT BEST PRACTICES FOR SUSTAINABILITY IN THE LAB. IN 2022, MY GREEN LAB CERTIFICATION BECAME RECOGNIZED BY AASHE, THE PROFESSIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION ASSOCIATION FOR THE UNIVERSITY SUSTAINABILITY COMMUNITY AND OPERATOR OF THE STARS PROGRAM, AND WAS NAMED AS A KEY INDICATOR OF PROGRESS IN THE UNITED NATIONS RACE TO ZERO CAMPAIGN. MY GREEN LAB REACHED NEARLY 20,000 PEOPLE WITH OUR NEWSLETTERS, RECRUITED NEARLY 3,000 AMBASSADORS, AND PRESENTED AT 80 GLOBAL PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCES AND EVENTS, INCLUDING THE UN CONFERENCE OF PARTIES (COP27).
