DURING THE TAX YEAR, THE RECKONING PROJECT (TRP) MADE SIGNIFICANT STRIDES IN ADVANCING ITS MISSION TO DOCUMENT WAR CRIMES AND PROMOTE ACCOUNTABILITY. TRP SUBMITTED THE FIRST-EVER UNIVERSAL JURISDICTION-BASED CRIMINAL COMPLAINT IN THE GLOBAL SOUTH FOR RUSSIAS WAR CRIME OF TORTURE AGAINST A CIVILIAN, BASED ON TESTIMONY COLLECTED BY TRP.TRP TRAINED 15 UKRAINIAN JOURNALISTS AND HUMAN RIGHTS EXPERTS, ENABLING THEM TO GATHER OVER 150 TESTIMONIES ON THE DEPORTATION AND INDOCTRINATION OF UKRAINIAN CHILDREN. THESE EFFORTS WERE CONDUCTED ON THE FRONT LINES AND REINFORCED TRPS STRONG PARTNERSHIPS WITH UKRAINIAN AUTHORITIES, INCLUDING THE OFFICE OF THE PROSECUTOR GENERAL. EXPANDING ITS MEDIA REACH, TRP SECURED PARTNERSHIPS WITH INTERNATIONAL RUSSIAN-SPEAKING MEDIA OUTLETS, INCLUDING OUTLETS BASED IN MOLDOVA AND THE BALTICS. THROUGH THESE PARTNERSHIPS, TRP DISSEMINATED 37 PUBLICATIONS, REACHING 175,378 PEOPLE ACROSS RUSSIAN-SPEAKING AUDIENCES IN RUSSIA AND OCCUPIED TERRITORIES OF UKRAINE, VIA WEBSITES AND SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS LIKE FACEBOOK, TIKTOK, AND TELEGRAM. TRP ALSO PARTICIPATED IN OVER 45 INTERNATIONAL EVENTS, AMPLIFYING ITS ADVOCACY AND OUTREACH ON THE GLOBAL STAGE.
