EXPLORE MORE: THIS PROJECT OPENS UP POSSIBILITIES FOR GIRLS IN 7 COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD AND HELPS THEM EXPLORE A WIDE RANGE OF ISSUES RELATED TO SELF-EMPOWERMENT AND SELF CONFIDENCE. THIS IS DONE BY UTILIZING A SERIES OF FILMS AND TOOLKITS WHICH AIM TO INSPIRE GIRLS TO EXPAND THEIR HORIZONS. THE PROGRAM HAS REACHED 27,529 ADOLESCENTS DIRECTLY.
GLOBAL EDUCATION FUND: GEF FUND SEEKS OUT AND INVESTS IN LEADERS WHO ARE PROMOTING GENDER EQUALITY AND IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION FOR GIRLS AND BOYS LIVING IN POVERTY IN KENYA AND INDIA. WITH GEF FUNDING AND RESOURCES, ORGANIZATIONS LED BY STRONG SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS HAVE NEW OPPORTUNITIES TO GROW AND CREATE POSITIVE CHANGE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES REACHING TO MORE THAN 4,800 ADOLESCENTS DIRECTLY.
IN INDIA, WE DESIGN AND LEAD INTERVENTIONS THAT BUILD ADOLESCENTS' AGENCY, VOICE AND GENDER EQUITABLE ATTITUDE THROUGH MODELS THAT ARE COMMUNITY BASED; DIGITAL; AND REMOTE. IN 2021 WE DIDN'T HELD IN PERSON PROGRAMS BECAUSE OF COVID BUT WE REACHED 10,000,000 ADOLESCENTS VIA MULTIMEDIA MESSAGES ON SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING. THE MULTIMEDIA WAS DISTRIBUTED THRU MOBILES COMPANIES. THE PROGRAM HAS REACHED 163 EDUCATORS DIRECTLY.
ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS INCLUDE US EDUCATOR PROGRAM (REACH OF ESTIMATED 16,000 ADOLESCENTS/YEAR), GUATEMALA PROGRAM REACHING 779 ADOLESCENTS/YEAR, FUTURE RISING WHICH IS OUR NEW CAMPAIGN TO DRIVE INVESTMENT AND SUPPORT FOR GIRLS' EDUCATION AND TO HARNESS THE POWER OF EDUCATED GIRLS TO TACKLE CLIMATE CHANGE, AND THE ONGOING EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM, PROVIDING FINANCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT FOR THE YOUNG WOMEN FEATURED IN THE GIRL RISING FILM AND THEIR SIBLINGS. OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH 1 MILLION TEACHERS HAS LET US TRAIN OUR CURRICULM TO 691 EDUCATORS AND REACH 35,000 ADOLESCENTS.
