TO ACHIEVE THIS, WE ENCOURAGE EXCELLENCE IN THE PERFORMANCE OF ORGAN AND CHORAL MUSIC; INSPIRE, EDUCATE, AND OFFER CERTIFICATION FOR ORGANISTS AND CHORAL CONDUCTORS; PROVIDE NETWORKING, FELLOWSHIP, AND MUTUAL SUPPORT; NURTURE FUTURE GENERATIONS OF ORGANISTS; PROMOTE THE ORGAN IN ITS HISTORIC AND EVOLVING ROLES; AND ENGAGE WIDER AUDIENCES WITH ORGAN AND CHORAL MUSIC.

HOSTED NATIONAL CONVENTION OF AMERICAN GUILD OF ORGANISTS HELD IN JULY 2022 (HTTPS://AGOSEATTLE2022.COM/). REVENUE INCLUDED FEES FOR REGISTRATION AND TRANSPORTATION DURING THE CONVENTION, ADVERTISING IN THE PROGRAM BOOK, GRANTS FROM OTHER AGO CHAPTERS, AND SMALL INDIVIDUAL GIFTS. PAYMENTS BEFORE THE CONVENTION INCLUDED BUS TRANSPORTATION, DEPOSITS ON FACILITIES, PRINTING THE PROGRAM BOOK, AND DEVELOPING A WEB SITE.
MADE GRANTS TO ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CHAPTER'S SPECIAL PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE (SPAC). ORGANIZATIONAL GRANTS WENT TO PUGET BRASS TO COMMISSION A COMPOSITION INCLUDING ORGAN AND TO THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON FOUNDATION TO HELP ENDOW A FACULTY POSITION FOR ORGAN INSTRUCTION.
