TO TEACH AND FURTHER THE PURSUIT AND APPRECIATION OF THE VISUAL ARTS AND CRAFTS, TO EXHIBIT AND PROVIDE AN OUTLET FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ASSOCIATION AND MEMBERSHIP AS WELL AS THE COMMUNITY AND NOT THE BENEFIT OF ANY INDIVIDUAL.

Part 3 - Line 4a
PROVIDE FREE ART CLASSES FOR ITS MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC. WATERCOLOR, OILS, ACRYLIC, COLORED PENCIL, PASTEL, AND PHOTOGRAPHY. TEACHERS VOLUNTEER THEIR TIME TO TEACH CLASSES. THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES SOME SUPPLIES AT VERY LOW PRICES. CLASSES ARE HELD MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY EVERY WEEK OF THE YEAR. WE PROVIDE AN ART LIBRARY TO HELP INDIVIDUALS ATTENDING THE CLASSES.
THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES A GALLERY WHERE THE MEMBERS CAN DISPLAY AND SELL THEIR ART. MEMBERS VOLUNTEER THEIR TIME FOR THE RUNNING OF THE GALLERY. THE SALE OF ART PROVIDES INCOME SO MEMBERS CAN PURSUE THEIR ART. THE COMMISSION THE ASSOCIATION RECEIVES PAYS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS, CLASSES AND EXPENSES FOR MAINTAINING THE GALLERY.
DONATION TO A SCHOLARSHIP FUND ADMINISTERED BY OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY ART STUDENTS TO PAY FOR TUITION AND/OR OTHER SCHOOL EXPENSES.
