HAPPY HOMES ADOPTION PROGRAM: HOUSED, PROVIDED VETERINARY CARE (INCLUDING SPAY/NEUTER), AND FOUND SUITABLE HOMES FOR 154 DOGS AND 244 CATS, AND IN MANY CASES TRANSPORTED ADOPTED PETS TO THEIR NEW HOMES WITHIN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST
STOP THE CYCLE SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAM: PROVIDED SPAY/NEUTER VOUCHERS TO LOW-INCOME PET OWNERS WHO HAD THEIR CHOICE OF PARTICIPATING VETERINARIANS SPAY AND/OR NEUTER THEIR PETS. A TOTAL OF 65 DOGS (36 SPAYS, 29 NEUTERS) AND 98 CATS (65 SPAYS, 33 NEUTERS) WERE SPAYED OR NEUTERED.
FEAR NO FERAL PROGRAM: ASSISTED PROPERTY OWNERS WITH HUMANE TRAPPING OF 115 CATS, WHICH WERE PROVIDED VETERINARY CARE, INCLUDING SPAY/NEUTER, EAR TIPPING, AND RABIES VACCINATION. OF THE CATS SERVED, 62 WERE RELEASED AT THE SAME LOCATION WHERE THEY WERE TRAPPED (TRAP-NEUTER-RELEASE, OR TNR); 9 WERE ADOPTED AS BARN CATS; 40 WERE TRANSFERRED TO THE HAPPY HOMES ADOPTION PROGRAM; 0 ARE STILL WAITING FOR HOMES; 4 WERE EUTHANIZED FOR HEALTH REASONS.
