OUR THRIFT STORE WAS VOTED THE BEST FOR THE 9TH YEAR IN A ROW BY SOURCE READERS. THIS WAS THE SECOND YEAR THAT WE HAVE ECLIPSED OVER $1M IN GROSS REVENUE. DONATIONS OF ITEMS CONTINUED TO BE STEADY AND HIGH QUALITY. WE HAD OVER 73000 TRANSACTIONS IN FY 21-22. OUR LARGEST CATEGORY OF SALES IN WOMEN'S CLOTHING.
HSCO HAS HAD TO MOVED TO SCHEDULED INTAKE DUE TO ONGOING STAFFING ISSUES. WE TOOK IN 2018 ANIMALS TOTAL, RETURNED 563 TO THEIR OWNERS AND ADOPTED OUT 1288. WE PLACED 94% OF THE ANIMALS THAT CAME THROUGH THE SHELTER. WE ALSO ALTERED OVER 700 COMMUNITY CATS AND FOSTERED 279 ANIMALS.
HSCO PERFORMED 1781 SPAY AND NEUTER SURGERIES WITH 363 BEING DONE BY THE BEND SPAY AND NEUTER PROGRAM PRIOR TO ITS CLOSE IN SEPTEMBER 2021. THE SHELTER CLINIC PERFORMED 2717 EXAMS AND CHECK-UPS.
