Describe the Organization's Mission:
Part 3 - Line 1
HOPE FOR PAWS RESCUES DOGS AND ALL OTHER ANIMALS WHO ARE SUFFERING ON THE STREETS AND IN SHELTERS. OUR GOAL IS TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ON THE IMPORTANCE OF COMPANION ANIMALS IN OUR SOCIETY, TO REDUCE EUTHANASIA RATES AT SHELTERS, INCREASE ADOPTION RATES, AND INSPIRE PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD TO TAKE ACTION IN ORDER TO END ANIMAL ABUSE, NEGLECT, AND HOMELESSNESS.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
2021 HAS BEEN EXTREMELY BUSY WITH MORE ANIMALS RESCUED THAN IN ALL PREVIOUS YEARS. WE HAVE GROWN THE NUMBER OF RESCUE PARTNERS WHICH OPENED THE DOOR TO MORE FOSTER FAMILIES ASSISTING HOPE FOR PAWS IN CARING FOR THE ANIMALS UNTIL LOVING FOREVER HOMES ARE FOUND. THROUGH 2021 WE CONTINUED SUPPLYING OUR RESCUE PARTNERS WITH FOOD, SUPPLIES, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, ASSISTANCE WITH MEDICAL CARE - MOSTLY SURGICAL CASES FOR ANIMALS WHO WOULD HAVE BEEN EUTHANIZED WITHOUT OUR HELP. AS WE HEADED TOWARD 2022, OUR MEDICAL PARTNER CARES REALIZED WE NEEDED A LARGER MEDICAL TEAM AND A LARGER FACILITY TO SUPPORT OUR NEEDS. A LARGER FACILITY WAS ACQUIRED WITH AN IN-HOUSE SURGEON, AND TWO COMPLETE MEDICAL TEAMS WORKING TO SERVE HOPE FOR PAWS 24/7 SO WE CAN CONTINUE OUR LIFE-SAVING MISSION.
