THIS YEAR THE ISSS WORKED TO SERVE THE MEMBERSHIP AND THE SYSTEMS COMMUNITY AT LARGE BY HOLDING THE ANNUAL MEETING ONLINE ATTENDED BY OVER 100 PEOPLE. AN IN-PERSON CONFERENCE WAS NOT POSSIBLE AGAIN THIS YEAR DUE TO HEALTH RESTRICTIONS. ISSS HAS ALSO INCREASED ITS OPTIONS FOR MEMBERS TO COLLABORATE AND PARTICIPATE ONLINE BY USING MEETING PLATFORMS AND OPPORTUNITIES. THIS YEAR THE ISSS ALSO PLACED EMPHASIS ON CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT TO INCREASE MEMBER DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION. ISSS CURRENTLY HAS AN OVERALL MEMBERSHIP OF 225. DUE TO THE SUCCESS OF OUR ONLINE PRESENCE, IT WAS DECIDED TO INCLUDE ONLINE PROGRAMING OPTIONS TO INCREASE ACCESSIBILITY FOR MEMBERS.
