SENIOR CENTER: REACH OUT MORONGO BASIN ADMINISTERS THE SENIOR CENTER IN 29 PALMS AND ASSISTS IN THE OPERATION OF THE SENIOR CENTER IN YUCCA VALLEY. THE 29 PALMS CENTER WAS OPEN 44 DAYS IN 2021 AND WAS STAFFED FOR 249 DAYS, HOSTED AN AVERAGE OF 18-30 PEOPLE WHEN OPEN WHICH WERE SERVED LUNCHES, HELD RECREATION ACTIVITIES AND 2 COVID VACCINATION CLINICS.
OTHER SERVICES: REACH OUT MORONGO BASIN PROVIDES A VARIETY OF OTHER SERVICES FOR THE ELDERY AND DISABLED SUCH AS GROCERY SHOPPING, MINOR HOME REPAIRS AND CLEANING, YARD WORK, AND REFERRALS TO OTHER AGENCIES WHO MAY PROVIDE NEEDED SERVICES.
