THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES MEDICAL EQUIPMENT FOR PERSONS IN CONVALESCENCE OR WITH PERMANENT DISABILITIES WHO ARE UNABLE TO OBTAIN THE ITEMS NEEDED FOR THEIR RECOVERY OR LONG-TERM CARE. THE ORGANIZATION WILL STORE, SANITIZE, REPAIR AND TRANSPORT THE USED EQUIPMENT FOR THESE INDIVIDUALS.

CLIENTS ARE PROVIDED WITH HOME-USE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT INCLUDING HOSPITAL BEDS, STANDARD AND ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIRS, WALKERS, CANES, LIFT CHAIRS, BATHROOM EQUIPMENT AND OTHER ITEMS. THOSE SERVED ARE UNABLE TO OBTAIN SUCH EQUIPMENT FROM CONVENTIONAL SOURCES, AND EACH HAS HIS/HER OWN STORY. INVENTORY IS DONATED FROM INDIVIDUALS AND OTHER HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS. VOLUNTEERS REPAIR DONATED EQUIPMENT TO WORKING CONDITION AND FIT RECIPIENTS WITH THE EQUIPMENT TO PROVIDE OPTIMUM COMFORT. ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEERS MAINTAIN RECORDS OF EQUIPMENT DONATED AND LOANED OUT. DURING 2021 A SHIPMENT LOADED WITH USED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT WAS TAKEN TO SAN FELIPE, MEXICO EVEN WITH THE COVID BORDER RESTRICTIONS. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION OUTREACHED FROM THREE LOCATIONS TO PROVIDE EQUIPMENT TO PERSONS IN OVER 120 COMMUNITIES IN WA AND THROUGHOUT THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. DURING 2021, THE SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITIES REMAINED STRONG WITH VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF RESPONDING TO THE COVID CHALLENGES WITH A CAN DO ATTITUDE. THE ORGANIZATION WAS DESIGNATED AN ESSENTIAL BUSINESS IN THE HEALTH CARE NETWORK IN WA STATE AND REMAINED OPEN TO PROVIDE DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
