BOISE ENTREPRENEUR WEEK (BEW) - BEW IS IDAHO'S LARGEST ENTREPRENEURIAL EVENT INTENDED TO ASSEMBLE, FOSTER, AND GROW THE ENTREPRENEURIAL COMMUNITY IN BOISE AND IDAHO. WE FEATURE EDUCATIONAL TALKS, WORKSHOPS, AND PITCH COMPETITIONS. WE AWARDED $72,000 IN GRANT MONEY AS PRIZES FOR THE WINNERS OF THE VARIOUS PITCH COMPETITIONS.
BASECAMP - BASECAMP IS OUR ORIGINAL HEADQUARTERS AND OPERATIONAL BASE. WE SERVE OVER 100 MEMBERS AT THIS LOCATION WITH OUR SO-CALLED "HOT DESK" PRODUCT IN AN OPEN AND COLLABORATIVE CO-WORKING SPACE. WE HOST OUR EVENTS AT BASECAMP SUCH AS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, MENTORSHIP, AND EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING AS WELL AS EVENTS SUCH AS BOISE PITCH NIGHT, TRAILMIX, BOISE STARTUP WEEK, LUNCH AND LEARN SERIES, AND OUR ANNUAL FUNDRAISER.
YOU LEAD IDAHO (YLI) - YLI IS AN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN RURAL IDAHO. THIS PROGRAM INTRODUCES STUDENTS TO THE ENTREPRENEURIAL CONCEPTS AND TOOLS. STUDENTS TAKE A SEMESTER-LONG COURSE ONLINE THROUGH OUR PARTNER, THE IDAHO DIGITAL LEARNING ALLIANCE, AND EARN DUAL ENROLLMENT CREDIT UPON COMPLETION. AS PART OF THE COURSE, STUDENTS FORM TEAMS AND COME UP WITH A BUSINESS IDEA THAT THEY DEVELOP THROUGHOUT THE PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM CULMINATES IN A PITCH COMPETITION BETWEEN THE VARIOUS SCHOOLS AND TEAMS, WHERE THE WINNING TEAM EARNS GRANTS FOR COLLEGE TUITION EXPENSES.
