THE LODGE UNITES IT'S MEMBERS IN THE BONDS OF FRATERNITY, BENEVOLENCE AND CHARITY. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH A YEAR ROUND SCHEDULE OF SOCIAL & RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES ESTIMATED TO NUMBER 2000. FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR MEMBERS IN NEED WHETHER FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT OR MEDICAL/BEREAVEMENT NEEDS. FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF MOOSE CHARITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: THE CHILD HOME-MOOSEHEART AND SENIOR RESIDENCES-MOOSEHAVEN.


PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR MEMBERSHIP TO PROVIDE FOR PROGRAM SERVICES.


THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS THE NEEDY AND FAMILIES THROUGH OUT THE COMMUNITY IN TIME OF CRISIS SUCH AS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS: THE ABUSED WOMEN'S AND CHILDREN'S SHELTER, THE SALVATION ARMY, ANCHORAGE GOSPEL RESCUE MISSION, ALASKA VETERANS SERVICES, THE AREA HOSPICE, AND HOLIDAY FOOD BASKETS.


THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS NUMEROUS YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS AND ACTIVITIES SUCH AS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: BOY SCOUTS, SPECIAL OLYMPICS, FIRE EXPLORERS, SPECIAL NEEDS SCHOOL, YOUTH BASEBALL, FOOTBALL, AND SOCCER. SUPPORT EFFORTS TO ENCOURAGE VOLUNTEERISM WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.
